What kinds of horses typically come through your doors?
We have all kinds of sporthorse breeds come through our barn! We specialize in retraining off the track thoroughbreds into the discipline that we feel they would excel at. However, we also have warmbloods of all kinds come into our program! We have something for everyone!
What does your training program look like?
When we get an OTTB to our facility, we may give them a day off and then get them under the saddle to see what they know. After the introduction ride, most of the horses need basic softness and flat work. We introduce jumping with a small crossrail and get them to go consistently over it. We have found that horses thrive with a solid flatwork foundation. Horses typically jump up to 2'6 with us. We get so many babies through our doors that we don't want to stress their joints. If you ask for something specifically, we will do our best to get that for you!
